A 3 hour-drive south from Madrid and less than one hour by car from Alicante airport, the Jumilla DOP (Protected Designation of Origin) stretches from the extreme south-east of the province of Albacete down through Murcia <\/span>as far as <\/span>the border with Alicante province. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Currently, the region’s 42 wineries encompass a spectrum of small family enterprises, larger family-owned concerns, and a couple of prominent corporate entities, complemented by the presence of six cooperatives.
