The Regulatory Council of the Protected Designation of Origin Jumilla reaffirms its commitment to WSET Global<\/a>, the world\u2019s leading and most popular network of academies for wine experts, by offering the second edition of the PDO Jumilla Wine Educator Course.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This year, the immersive experience will take place on May 20th, 21st, and 22nd<\/strong>, and is expected to welcome a group of 19 educators from around the world, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Sweden, Singapore, Portugal, and the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

Following a successful first edition<\/a>, which saw a surge in collaborations between international professionals and the Jumilla PDO is gaining ground in wine academies and schools worldwide, as well as in educational tastings at all levels. Jumilla PDO wines are positioning themselves as fresh, characterful, and balanced Mediterranean wines, reflecting the revolution taking place in the region’s wineries, and have become essential accompaniments to lunches and dinners.<\/p>\n

The objective of this initiative by the Jumilla PDO Regulatory Board is to increase the theoretical content about the Jumilla PDO in wine books and other materials worldwide, as well as in practical educational tastings, thereby securing its rightful place as the most outstanding designation of origin in southeastern and central Spain. Its high-quality wines and unique identity make it one of the best options for consumers, a fact that should be showcased by these academy professors and shared with students.<\/p>\n

The people trained at these academies are highly qualified and come from a diverse range of sectors; most are sommeliers, distributors, and those involved in wine tasting and recommendation – key segments for promoting Jumilla PDO wines.<\/p>\n
